Net Revenue Retention (NRR)
Net revenue retention (NRR), sometimes called Net Dollar Retention (NDR), is a SaaS metric that measures the recurring revenue generated from existing customers over a set period, typically a month or year.
NRR estimates business growth potential by considering upgrades, downgrades, and customer churn. New customers are not considered in calculating net revenue retention.
