Latest Release of CloudBlue Connect Doubles Down on Catalog and Channel Management

Latest enhancements and modules boost efficiency and increase communication capabilities

 

July 22, 2020 – Irvine, Calif. – CloudBlue, an Ingram Micro business, announced today the latest updates to CloudBlue Connect, a vendor and channel management platform that helps vendors and service providers expand their reach and decrease time to market with minimal overhead costs when launching new products and services on their catalog.

By unifying indirect and direct channel operations with a single platform, CloudBlue Connect helps to boost efficiency, speed time to revenue and establish scalable businesses quickly. The latest CloudBlue Connect release (version 20) supports vendors with more capabilities, including price and contact management.

 

The platform’s new pricing module allows vendors to define specific product pricing for all their channels from a central place and allows providers to easily see a vendor’s pricing from a single view. Additional updates include an expanded set of parameter types that gives vendors the ability to configure products and processes to better align with the businesses’ needs. The platform also helps vendors stay better informed with easier access to information, such as pricing, accounts contacts and partner contacts. The new actions flagged on the platform’s home dashboard helps keep vendors and providers constantly updated, speeding up communication and connections between systems.

The new CloudBlue Connect features include:

  • Pricing module: Vendors can set up pricing per SKU, per provider and per marketplace. They can also set prices at cost, at MSRP, by tier and by custom attribute.

  • Partners directory: Providers and vendors can easily locate the contact information for their vendors and providers.

  • Home dashboard actions: Users are quickly and easily alerted to all areas of needed actions from one page.

  • Product version changelog: Providers can easily view the changes that vendors make to a product’s definition and listings.

  • Account-level SSO links: Providers and vendors can create custom single sign-on (SSO) links for their own users, their respective vendors or providers, or additional providers (with the appropriate corresponding agreements).
