What is Adobe VIP Marketplace?

Adobe Value Incentive Plan (VIP) Marketplace is the evolution of Adobe’s partner channel licensing program, set to replace the legacy Adobe VIP. 

Designed for simplicity and efficiency, VIP Marketplace streamlines the way organizations purchase, provision, and manage Adobe software licenses. It enables CloudBlue to offer a platform that automates purchasing, billing, and provisioning processes, making it easier to resell Adobe licenses.

What You Need to Know About the Deadlines

May 31, 2025 – End of Legacy VIP for Commercial Customers.

What this means for you

After May 31st, Adobe Partners will not be able to make any value-adding transactions in the legacy VIP Program on behalf of Commercial Customers. To place a subscription order, upgrade or upsize license quantities, the subscription must be in the modern Adobe VIP Marketplace.

  1. Manually migrate on your own. This can be risky and costly.
  2. Get a marketplace platform that makes it easy for you to Transfer your Customers and their Subscriptions into the modern Adobe VIP Marketplace.

    • Seamless Move – Seamless Move Transfer is CloudBlue’s tool to help Adobe Partners perform a self-serve Transfer of an Adobe Customer with all their legacy VIP Subscriptions into the modern VIP Marketplace. Afterward, the CloudBlue Monetization Platform will help you to manage the modern VIP Marketplace Subscriptions.
    • Seamless Move has other capabilities too, such as transferring Subscriptions between Adobe Resellers. And if you’re an existing Adobe VIP Marketplace Partner, you can Import existing VIP Marketplace Subscriptions of your Customers too.
    • Do you have large Adobe Customers (not SMB, and having more than 100 Seats)? The marketplace platform you choose to work with must support high volume discounts or you wont be able to sell, and it has to support “HVD Migration” for you to bring your business over from legacy VIP to modern VIP Marketplace.
