Bechtle expands multi-vendor cloud portfolio with CloudBlue, adding agility in the adaptation of the Bechtle Clouds Marketplace

April 13, 2022, IRVINE, Calif. – CloudBlue, a leading cloud ecosystem technology company, is now supporting Bechtle, Germany’s largest IT system house and leading IT e-commerce provider in Europe, with its solutions. The Bechtle Clouds Marketplace supports companies on their way to an optimal cloud strategy by enabling them to put together a custom-fit infrastructure, platform or application landscape from separately bookable and independent services.

With the hyperscalable platform solution from CloudBlue, Bechtle can now bring new manufacturers onto the Bechtle Clouds Marketplace in the shortest possible time or to process existing integrations faster and more efficiently.

With the implementation of the CloudBlue platform, Bechtle can significantly shorten the development times for vendor integrations in the Marketplace and thus reduce costs at the same time. The platform enables rapid adaptation of changed pricing models, product configurations and vendor APIs, and reduces the complexity of usage-based billing models. In addition, Bechtle accelerates the go-to-market times for the expansion of the continuously growing multi-cloud portfolio.

“The cooperation with CloudBlue supports our strategy of providing companies and public clients with a comprehensive portfolio of value-added cloud services quickly and easily,” said Melanie Schüle, Managing Director, Bechtle Clouds. “This strengthens our flexibility and speed in the realisation of individual cloud architectures–completely digitalised, automated and scalable.”

“We are very happy to be working with Bechtle with immediate effect,” explained Tom Schröder, Head of DACH, CloudBlue. “Our technologies offer companies the fastest and most efficient way to digitise both their supply chain and B2B sales. We want to advise, accompany and support system houses in their development towards becoming cloud sellers or fully automated all-as-a-service providers.” ICT distribution is thus preventing the increasing pressure on margins, taking into account the change in consumer behaviour and equipping itself for the future of digital distribution.”

“With CloudBlue, Bechtle is able to streamline development processes and respond faster to market changes,” commented Tarik Faouzi, Senior Vice President, CloudBlue. “By expanding their product catalogue of cloud solutions and accelerating go-to-market times for their ever-growing portfolio, our platform enables Bechtle to scale their B2B ecosystem more efficiently and effectively to remain at the forefront of European system houses in terms of their level of innovation.”
