We started with a question: How can we make CloudBlue Connect the most beneficial and productive forum for our attendees? Although this was our 14th event, we wanted to offer a lot more than just a new name (it was previously called APS Partner Connect). With a hyper-focus on content, speakers, networking and of course, fun, CloudBlue Connect was a time of sharing knowledge, meaningful conversation and even a beer or two with industry influencers in the beautiful city of Munich.

Acceleration is the name of the game.

The theme of our event was accelerated business and the keynotes drove this point home. Mark Gallagher from Formula One inspired all of us with his take on acceleration. He stressed how we need to use technology not just to drive change, but to embrace it, and to do it quickly. This has been the secret behind Formula One’s revenue success for years.

Tarik Faouzi and David Wippich talked about how we’ve gone beyond digital and cloud transformation and are now moving into the next phase, which is the rapid expansion of cloud. They said it was vital to have a partner who can accelerate your business while limiting “velocitization,” which is when we lose sight of constant change and disruption.

Nimesh Davé pointed out that it’s the platform that makes all emerging technologies possible and how blockchain, AI and autonomous are just the beginning. All in all, his unique perspective gave us a sense of the platform’s infinite potential.

Renée Bergeron challenged all our customers, saying they, too, can build a billion-dollar business like Ingram Micro Cloud. The secret? A powerful e-commerce engine.

CloudBlue brings acceleration to life through our three pillars: infinite ecosystem, hyperscale technology and business acceleration services. We’re ready to make the promises delivered at CloudBlue Connect a reality for you. Let the acceleration begin.

But first, some big news.

I was beyond excited to acknowledge our customers who are experiencing triple-digit growth, three of which received CloudBlue’s Innovation and Growth Award. Again, huge congrats and cheers to Cobweb, Advania and O2. The growth of these companies is beyond impressive and reinforces the infinite possibilities you can uncover by leveraging our infinite ecosystem.

We also announced 13 new ISVs who recently joined our ecosystem. A number I predict will increase drastically over the next year because of new technologies like Connect. And we topped it off with news that CloudBlue was named the digital commerce platform provider of choice for C-Data, one of Israel’s leading distributors of computer, data security and communications products and peripheral equipment for top brands.

This is an exciting time for all of us, and we aptly celebrated by tapping a keg and prost-ing to all our joint accomplishments. But as Nimesh said, the revolution has only just begun.

Keep the action going.

The main goal of CloudBlue Connect is to help you walk away with actionable changes and new partnerships that can accelerate your business.

That’s why we allocated a lot of time for networking with a big emphasis on executive-level connections. In fact, 50% of the activities were dedicated to networking functions and forums. As a result, we had some serious networking going on. I’m talking over 100 meetings on-site with about 150 attendees from 30 countries worldwide. Incredible.

We’re here to help you drive momentum within the cloud ecosystem fast. Faster than your competitors and faster than industry standards. By partnering with us, you’ll be accelerating it at CloudBlue speed in no time.
