Refurbishment & Repair

Refurbishment and Repair are the critical services that return products to their optimal functional and cosmetic condition. CloudBlue’s technicians and engineers perform repair and refurbishment services on most major categories of consumer electronics and IT hardware. Our services include both whole unit and component part repair.

Items that fail the Audit & Test process are routed to Repair where it is determined if the labor and parts required to return the unit to functional condition are cost-effective or cost-prohibitive. Assets deemed appropriate for repair are restored to their functional and cosmetic condition, removing any client identification from assets allocated for remarketing services. If it is determined that the repair will cost more than the asset’s inherent value, CloudBlue will perform data destruction services and send the unit on for parts harvesting, demanufacturing and recycling.

All pertinent repair information is recorded in CloudBlue’s asset management system to provide customers with the status of each asset’s functionality, cosmetics, processing stage and location within the CloudBlue facility. Functional assets are routed to data erasure and destruction services.
