Environmental Policy

As a responsible corporate citizen, CloudBlue Technologies, Inc is committed to conducting business in a manner that will preserve and protect the environment, the health and safety of our employees and customers, and the citizens of surrounding communities.

CloudBlue will comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations and standards relative to the environmental aspects and hazards associated with our activities, products and services. We will actively seek to prevent pollution and excessive waste to ensure minimal impact on the environment and we will accomplish this by assessing risks associated with our processes and establish goals and objectives to mitigate such risks.

Some of our major initiatives include:

• Policy and Programs on Environment: CloudBlue's corporate policy supports development of strategic products, services and policies designed to help our customers and our company improve environmental awareness and stewardship.
• Policy and Programs on Safety: CloudBlue’s safety program provides employees with the training and information needed to protect against workplace injuries, illnesses and accidents.
• Certifications: CloudBlue is committed to having our environmental policies and procedures audited and certified by independent third parties. We are ISO14001 certified and a Basel Action Network e-Steward. Additionally, we are registered with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in every state we process electronics and are members of the EPA Waste-Wise program for waste reduction.
• Products and Services: CloudBlue is creating innovative products and services to help our clients reduce their creation of electronic waste. By refurbishing, remarketing and recycling electronic equipment, CloudBlue minimizes landfill refuse.
• Operations Management: CloudBlue believes that a meaningful commitment to protecting the environment must begin with our internal operations. To this end, we are committed to enhancing the conduct of our internal operations and carrying out policies and programs that minimize our direct impact on the environment. CloudBlue aspires to best practices in facility management and product procurement. In addition, we seek to develop effective relationships with contractors and suppliers to encourage their environmental awareness and to promote support for our environmental objectives.
• Logistics: CloudBlue makes asset retirement simple and green by providing processing locations across the globe. This model not only reduces the cost of freight to our customers, it reduces total miles driven, which minimizes our carbon footprint through reduced emissions and fuel consumption.
