Demanufacturing

CloudBlue’s demanufacturing process is illustrated in the diagram below. We manually dismantle non-working electronics into sorted commodities/parts streams. Parts that can be re-used are tested and sold separately or as part of a refurbished whole unit. Electronic scrap is sorted, packaged and shipped to audited domestic downstream refiners and smelters who recycle the commodities for re-manufacturing. CloudBlue performs annual onsite audits of our downstream partner’s facilities to ensure they are in compliance with our standards and e-Stewards^® standards.
