Auditing & Testing

The Auditing & Testing process is critical to capturing asset information as well as moving No Problem Found (NPF) units to Finished Goods as quickly as possible. Expediting NPF units reduces obsolescence and produces maximum value recovery.

CloudBlue provides detailed, component-level auditing and testing. All pertinent information regarding the asset is recorded and the item is tested to determine its path to final disposition within CloudBlue’s processes. Our proprietary asset management system captures extensive data on each asset including parent/child relationships to key components such as hard drives. Some of the information recorded includes: serial number, client asset tag, asset type, manufacturer, model, configuration, accessories, cosmetic condition, functional status, processing stage, final disposition and market value.

Upon completion of the Auditing & Testing process, clients receive a detailed Audit Report. In addition, all audit and test data is available online through the web portal where customers can retrieve the archived Audit Report on their own, or export the data for further analysis.
